McGill Tripod Adapter is custom-made for the Vixen PORTA(II) as well as the Twilight I Mount, so as to allow the mount to connect to any standard camera/video tripods with 3/8″ threads. It is immensely useful to PORTA mount users all over the world!

Made from premium grade anodized aluminum, it is visually appealing, tough and highly durable. Comes with anti-slip padding.

How to use:
Retain the existing 3 rings at the base of the PORTA mount when removing the original black base. Insert the 3 rings into this tripod adapter and connect to the mount. For TWILIGHT I mount, the method is the same except there is no black base.

Tips: It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to place the mount on a table with the bottom facing up so that you have a good view when connecting the tripod. It is also better to grab the tripod and attach to the mount as the former is usually lighter and easier to hold than the latter.
